If you’re looking for accommodation in one of the small villages, it’s best to contact the Tourist Office first. In the village of Besse, I can recommend the Gite des Diounes and for a luxury stay on the edge of the Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine, check out the magnificent self-catering chalet Le Villarais in Villard Reculas.
